Faces in the Crowd

The Bible is full of names like Abraham, Moses, David, Jonah, Peter, and Paul. They and others like them are well-known even to many people who don’t follow Jesus. They are almost legendary stories that stand out from many others that are told in the pages of Scripture. But when we look closer, we find that there are literally hundreds of people who played a significant role in the history of the church who we know very little about, except that God worked through them to make a big difference. They are less “superstar” and more “role player” at first glance, but the reality is that simply because they were willing, God took these seemingly ordinary people - faces in the crowd - and used them to do incredible things. This series tells their stories and helps us understand how Jesus wants to do the same things in our lives today.
