A Seat at the Table
Through David’s kindness to Mephibosheth, we see a picture of God’s mercy for all people. Regardless of past wounds, present conditions, or future worries, this final week reminds us that God offers us a seat at His table as part of His family.
Even Better
After experiencing God’s forgiveness, David moves forward and fulfills his purpose as king. This week focuses on moving past the failures of our past, walking in freedom, and living out God’s calling for our lives with a restored heart. Once we’ve experienced it in this way, we find that the grace of God is even better than we thought.
Giant Problems
Before we can deal with our past, we have to confront the battles and struggles in front of us, just like David faced Goliath. Only by relying on God’s strength, not our own, can we overcome the obstacles standing in our way and move forward in faith.
More Than Meets the Eye
Many of us struggle with self-doubt and imposter syndrome, feeling unqualified or overlooked when it comes to God’s calling in our lives. But while others look at outward appearances, God sees something deeper. This week, we’ll explore how to move past our self-imposed limiting thoughts and beliefs and trust God’s leading even when we don’t feel worthy. When we learn to see ourselves through God’s eyes, we realize that we are more than meets the eye.
Fueling the Mission
We often say that the church is not a building, a place, a service, or an event… it’s the people of God, on mission together to change the world and build the Kingdom. That’s a big, important job. It won’t be easy, but working together with the power of God in us, we can’t fail. This message wraps up our series by reminding us that when we’re generous, we’re fueling the mission Jesus gave us to bring all people to him.
World-Changing Generosity
For many of us, life is a series of carrots that dangle in front of us, and we spend years and years chasing those carrots often to no avail. We strive to accomplish our goals, climb the ladder, accumulate wealth and possessions, achieve notoriety… and in the end, we’ll find that those things are fleeting and that true fulfillment can’t be found in them. Instead, we are called to be people who live with “eternity eyes”, keeping the big picture in mind and living in light of the truth that what we are and what we have in this world will pass, but in Jesus we can find eternal joy.

Get To
Maybe you want to be generous but feel like you can’t. Maybe the idea of giving is something you’ve never considered. Maybe, if you were honest, you’d say you just simply don’t want to give. In this message, we’ll explore how each of us can make a difference and how, if we will shift our mindset from “have to” to “get to”, we will experience God’s blessings in our lives as a result.
