First Christian Church exists to reach out in unconditional love to all people and grow followers of Jesus. Mission Trip Story: Honduras

Honduras Medical Trip

El Socorro | February 15-22, 2020
A medically-oriented mission trip to Jardín de Gracia, a Christian school in the village of El Socorro in central Honduras. Our team will give head-to-toe assessments of the students & staff, give instruction in basic first-aid and CPR, and possibly teach on other health-related issues for the school and/or local community.

El Socorro | July 11-18, 2020

Jardín de Gracia is a Christian school in central Honduras created to serve the poorest of the poor in the El Socorro area. About 160 students, K-6th, are planned to begin the school year which runs from February to November in Honduras. Our goal is to help with school upkeep and work out in the community while we’re there.

Appalachia

Prestonsburg, Kentucky | July 19-25, 2020

Want to serve on a trip without leaving the country? Then this trip is for you! This mission opportunity heading to Appalachia in July is partnered with CrossRoads Missions who brings people of all ages together to provide home repairs and outreach activities for the local community. Their goal is to facilitate your involvement in missions so that your faith is deepened and your commitment to God’s kingdom is strengthened.
