Grace, Jesus, Sermons, Spiritual Growth, Trust
Being a living sacrifice means we live open-handed toward God.
Haiti, Hope, Impact, Struggles, Trust
I have never doubted that God wants to play an integral part in our lives and desires nearness to us. Knowing this happens and allowing this to happen in my life are a completely different story, though.
Forgiveness, Jesus, Trust
Being a single parent was one of the hardest, most exhausting things I have experienced. My life did seem hopeless at that point because I really didn’t know if I would ever be able to trust again.
Fear, Grace, Identity & Purpose, Trust
Detours can be hard, heavy, and hallowed all at once. They can be disorienting, uncomfortable and messy. Sometimes there’s more grief than joy and more work than rest. Fear not, grace is found in each established step, and God especially loves the lost.
Faith, Prayer, Relationships, Trust
God was showing me that praying matters, that connecting with people matters, that trusting in Him matters. I prayed thinking I would never know the outcome, but God allowed me to come in on the other side of the story.
Spiritual Growth, Struggles, Trust
Loneliness is a powerful thing, but don’t make decisions based on temporary pain or hurt that could have much greater consequences. Be wise. Be patient. Trust Jesus. It’s hard, but trust that he’s using this to grow something good in you.
